OK got really bored today so I start a new project

Custom painted Oakley (GasTank) sunglasses

I am going to paint them S2000 Nürburgring Blue Metallic


So here we go

The sunglasses stock


Taking the Oakley O off



Brokin Down



In primer




Wet Sanded



The stuff I am using for painting



Nürburgring Blue


This is a Valve cover I did with the same paint so you can see what it should look like

Quick First Coat






Second Coat








All Done
I ended up leaving the O's Chrome I might paint them black later

No, mine are old ones that are some limited ones or some crap

But the Gas Cans look the same

 

Yeah, I thought they are called Oakley Gas Cans too. The little project looks neat. In for some results.

Thanx what do you think should I leave the Oakley o's Crome or should I do them in a flat black

Does your car look the same as its pictures in the Teal Hatch Club? If so, I would say that it would match your car's secondary color to paint it black, rather than chrome. Or maybe bronze.

Yeah the car looks the same but I think black is the route I'm gonna go
