Default My UKDM ITR, and a few friends

Hi guys, i`ve been a lurker on here for the best part of 6 years now when i first had my 92 EF CRX, and then progressed to the dc2 you see before you.

I`ve recently parked up the DC2 in favour for a Richard Burns Subaru impreza, which after 2 months is back up for sale and once it goes, the dc2 returns and hopefully a proper jdm EK9.

I bought the dc2 nearly 4 years ago in standard form. below is a spec and some pictures. It might not be to everyones taste but it certainly is different from nearly all the DC2 type R`s in my area, all of which are lowered with an aftermarket exhaust.

A lot of my influence has came from a mixture of USDM and JDM, I built the car for myself, and even today its still the best car i`ve owned.

C+C welcome.

Thanks

You guys need to hook up the US/Canadian owners with those optional fog lights.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

FYI your Mugen Spoiler, Mugen Stripe kit, and Mugen "Racing Harness" are fake Mugen parts, you might not care, and you might not even know, I'm just point it out to you so you're not misinformed about anything. Alot of people have fake stuff and don't even know it. That's where we, the Mugen Militia come into play and inform.

thanks guys,

yeah i know those parts are fake, the suspension, intake, pedals, and manifold however arent.

the likes of the stripe kit cant be bought new and genuine anymore, so it was the best i could do, although there is a UK based seller who makes 110% exact replicas of them.

the spoiler was a bargain buy and fitted in with the carbon theme... it even to this day is an undecided mod.. i like it some days, others i dont.

and the harness.. it was an ebay impulse buy that spends more time in my shed than in the car.. LOL

but I get what your saying about folk having fake stuff and not recognising it... that spec sheet was taken from an old post, there are additions also but my harddrive crashed last week so i lost a load of pictures and spec info

@blueintegraboy - i`ve been trying to hook up a few guys for a while now, but the fogs are sooooooo hard to come by.. and considering i keep smashing mine on the freeway from stones etc, they are also costly, @ around $150 a light at todays exchange rate.

Nobody came in your thread and said what you said. The OP was upfront and told us his stuff was replica in his original post. Dont be burnt up Cory.

No he wasn't, it was edited jack asses, I don't care that they are replica, but I do care if they are and the person doesn't know about it, even if they don't care after they find out. I was just trying help out in case HE DIDN'T know, so he can try and get it resolved with the scammer he bought the **** from.

Case and point, when I was looking for an authentic Gen II, I thought I had found one, Mark (mstwear) had it, and thought all along it was real, he showed me pictures of it and I broke the news to him that it was a fake, even though he was about to sell it to me for $1200. Even though it being fake didn't bother him, obviously because it was on a race car, but he still got a raw deal in a trade he made, SCAMMED for better words.

So no matter what you haters think or say, I was trying to help the guy just in case he didn't know, get the expletive off my nuts.

I like the guys car regardless...

I hope you like it. It has similiar characteristics to yours with the exception of it being white and black side skirts. Its going to be okay.
