just wondering if anyone has been crazy enough to try it. it would look like a modernized facelift to the original DA9 DB1 front end. it might be interesting. flame suit is at the ready. thanks in advance

ok so it does exist. thats what i figured there isnt really anymore undone combinations in the honda tuning world anymore i just want to see a picture to show my dad. if he likes it he might be able to swing for the black housing hid headlights for good ol' christmas we can only hope lol. and for refference im not spoiled my pops is just the SHITTTT

Acutally there is one member on here that actually made it look good IMO but I don't remember his user name.

I can never find a front shot of it but it looks great here's the picture.

He used (I think) 1/2 of the DC2 fenders/DA, hood, and front bumper of the JDM DC2.

I'm also considering trying this.

I dont think thats ricey at all.. i actually like it...

 

they're ok, as they resemble the oem headlights. It kind of makes the DA look crossed-eye

That is so the front end from Jon's car!!!! I think that was his name... haven't talked to him in a good while. That bumper is one of a kind! I remember his build pictures where he actually made the bumper lines like that!!! And i bet you that's his modified painted CF hood too!!! There's no doubt in my mind that his old front end!!!

i agree wholeheartedly with this guy. i remember seeing his build thread too, thinking the whole time that was a weird way of doing the conversion. it is very unique to the builder as i have never seen it done the same way before. this is his front end without a doubt. what a trip.

 

Not diggin it. Strictly belongs on a DC2.

Haha yeah you recognize that front end too huh?? I knew it from the second i saw it!!! That's most def Jon's old front end!

Look at where the front bumper molding use to be.





You can see the lines going from one end to another. And if I recall correctly. He's the only person to modify his bumper like that where the bumper and hood meets.</TD></TR></TABLE>
