Default How do you wire power mirrors into a non-power car?

What do I need to wire spoon style power mirrors (4 wires, one brown, one blue, one black, and one white) into my 99 non-power hatch without the floor harness?

I need:
-power mirrors
-power switch

what else? And once i have what i need, how do i wire it?

thanks in advance for any help

you need a relay, some wire and a wiring diagram and some patience.

I did power folding mirrors- took about two hours and it was a bitch but kindof worth it

for a diagram search "power folding mirror diagram" under the 92-00 civic section

So I use the power folding diagram even though I don't have power folding mirrors?

Best bet is to go to your local junkyard and scavenge all the parts you need or at least the pigtails from all the components.

a relay is only used for the folding option. you will not use it in a standard power mirror install

Hmm, I'll just have to pm you when i get all the parts I need. I have the mirrors, and I'm getting the oem mirror switch soon...and i will use the ctr pigtail (not the ctr one...although i do have that one as well). Thats it for parts, other than wiring, correct?

get a blade fuse tap so that you can wire power into the fuse box. you can pick them up at radioshack usually
