The snowboard was used for approximately 20 runs
Processing the all-terrain versatility of the world-renowned Custom, but built with only the finest materials, the custom X is the world's premier wood core board. Developed with Dave Downing for explosive riders like Kazu Kokubo, the Custom X performs at another level. They maximized the fiberglass for an optimized strenth-to-weight ratio without sacrificing durability, stiffness or lightness and infused a carbon I-beam for added longitudinal snap. The stepped-up performance package including a sintered WFO base, dragonfly core and pressure distribution edges lets you ride faster, turn quicker and boost larger than ever before.
<LI>SINTERED WFO BASE
they take the highest grade sintered material and saturate it with two kinds of high and low, temperature-reactive wax to create a pre-conditioned wax-impregnated base that provides incredibly smooth, ultra fast glide over any snow condition imaginable. The regenerative properties of the high and low-melt wwaxes mean this base stays Wide ****** Open all season long.
<LI>DRAGONFLY CORE
The highest end wood core on the market incorporates over 500 independent laminations to provide incredible strength-to-weight ratio for superior power and unmatched lightness.
<LI>MULTIZONE EGD
The wood grain is perpendicular to the core only under the bindings to enhance carving precision while maintaining overall snow feel.
<LI>LITE TRIAX FIBERGLASS
One lengthwise layer of fiberglass topped with two layers of diagonal glass provides the board's torsional stiffness for more precise turn initiation and exit, and superior edge hold. (0/+-45)
<LI>CARBON I-BEAM
A carbon backbone that's light and gives the board added longitudinal snap.
[*]INFINITE RIDE
They overbuild the board and put it through a performance-enhancing process that allows the board to retain its shape and provides a precise, snappy flex that lasts all season long.
[*]STAINLESS STEEL EDGES
Precision-tuned, high-performance stainless steel provides superior defense against corrosion for razor sharp edges and hassle-free maintenance.
[*]PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION EDGE
The edges beneath your bindings bow out half a millimeter, giving you that little extra you need to maintain grip on icy hardpack.
[*]GRAPHIC TECH
Using a Custom X lenticular inlay, large red chrome foil details and matte-on-gloss detailing, the Custom X graphic looks like it came stragiht from antoher dimension.
