what are you running for 60ft time?? and on what size slick and first gear ratio..

 

25" M&Hs 1.54 60ft no bars ( on a good track)

 

24.5x8.5x13 best so far was a 1.58 on a shitty track with traction bars

 

what first gear are you guys running?

 

You can run 10s no sweat in your car with a stock H22 trans and a very basic motor. I would get it running and make sure the car goes straight and drives well, then work on the gearing from there. Depending on power and tire size, you should cut 1.4s without an issue. 60ft is one thing...330 and the rest of the track is another.

 

thanks for the input im not really too concerned with gearing as of now but i just wanted to get some insight

o and its a b16 trans not h22

best i ever cut was a 1.38 at sacramento, but car was on average in the 1.40-1.42 range.(this was a full race car) don't know if you were looking for street cars or not

 

it was in a crx

shouldn't 60's be lower in a race car than street car. im running high 11s with 1.58 60s
