So....ive had my car and now i want to do a swap....I have a 98 cx hatcback....and i wanted to so a GSR swap with a legal ready turbo kit......my set up is that i want to do at least 185 to the wheels.....i dont want to do jdm because i cant handle thinking about what will happen if i get pulled over and impounded and ****......i know im a loser but im just that person that doesnt wanna deal with that......anyways i like wat i see in the GSR and i like boosting......i was reading some simple ways to keep your car maintained with the turbo.....wat do you think? all the information will be useful....thank you

 

i think u should save your money and go ls turbo. should give u a solid 185 to the wheels........ just my 2 cents

X2. My first motor was an LS turbo with a GSR tranny. Then I boosted it with a ram horn mani, t3/t4 turbo and made 227whp @ 7 psi. My best et was 13.1 with 240 whp. I tried dipping into the 12s by turning up the boost to 13 psi and made 276, but no traction and ended doing worse and blowing up the motor

GSR is good boost too. Can probably make 300+ stock with a good turbo kit. (i knew one that made 304whp @ 14 psi bone stock GSR with a Peakboost top mount and a GT35)
