Recommended spark plugs for high comp CRVTEC?
I picked up a set of plugs from Acura for the GSR/Type R and will start off the break in period with those, barring any problems. Anyone here have suggestions?
NGK bcpr6e-11 or bkr6e-11 depending how high c/r? if its high like 13:1 and you live in cali i'd run bkr7e-11 but im looking and you doint live in cali so try the 6's

I remember the ones I got have the 6 on it. I do have access to 92 octane out here running approximately 12.5:1, but maybe a tad higher.
yes platinums are a little bit better but not worth the difference in cost. I'm putting down the same HP on the dyno with coppers as I was with platinums, they've lasted me about a year now and still spark great. nothing against platinums though, if you want to pay for them its your choice.

If you plan on staying N/A, the just keep the stock platinum plugs that you already have. Platinum is only bad for fordced iduction, because its higher operating temp. can induce detonation. If your N/A stock is fine. Why does everyone think Honda didnt want the best for their engines?
platinum does not conduct better than copper, BUT, most coppers are copper core and nickel outside, which is on par with platinum conductiviti...the advantage to platinum is its durability and longevity, hence hondas use of em in high rpm production engines. silver is the best conductor and evidently iridium is on par with silver but last alot longer.
