b18 ef help
just did a b18a1 mpfi swap into my 91 civic, dx,
all wiring is right,
but im not sure about vaccum lines,
when i start it the choke doesn't want to kick on for about
a minute or so sometimes longer,
anyone have any vaccum diagrams or...
anything else to help, suggestions please help its kinda annoying to sit there and hold it
and the colder it gets the worse it gets

well, those engines don't have chokes, do you mean the throttle plate that is sticking closed? if so, that's what its meant to do, if it cant idle then you wanna check te iacv, its the air valve that regulates your idle, little more info would be great. as far as the vacuum diagram goes, all you need to worry about is hooking up map, purge valve, brake booster line and fuel press regulator. an other extra vacuum nipples on the motor you must cancel out, just as long as you are feeding the things i listed with vacuum you should be set, that is the easier way to do it. if I'm forgetting something, someone please mention it.
ya i've tried routing the vaccum lines how it says,
will it make a differance if i have a OBD1 intake manifold on it,
when i hooked it up as in the picture i start it and it idles at about 3800 rpms,
and its becase the choke engages all the time weather its warm or not,
please help
