Post some pictures and they will say a lot about seats.
I have a set of front seats as well and they are in excellent/mint condition and I wouldn't sell the for less than $1400

I wouldn't mind the red seats. My S2k had red seats, and I actually liked them.

To the OP: you can get SRD's for $500-$1000, which I would much rather have, so expect a bit less than that.

Peanut Butter hit the nail on the head... you can pay $1400 for stock red seats or pick up some SRDs which are nicer and more efficient.

The unfortunate thing is that SRD's are a dime a dozen. I prefer them too, and that's why I sold my canadian red interior to get them (and a bunch of other stuff), but the fact of the matter is that the 01 Reds are the most rare interior option ever produced for our cars, stock seats or not. This is the same reason that a yellow SRD will bring in more than double the amount a black or red one will, yet it's the exact same seat. It's the rarity of the item and the demand for it that will determine market value, not whether an individual can justify it or not.

I sold my fronts at the beginning of 2007 for $1250US shipped, and they were in A1 condition. Another HT member bought them off of the original buyer for a fraction of that price. I sold the rears for $1350US shipped and they were in brand new condition. That's $2600US for the set. This is what people will pay. I didn't have any issues selling them either, and the people who purchased seats from me were happy with their purchases.

I admit, the look of the red interior was a bit too flashy for me, but it looks great as a complete set in it's own right. I'm more of a black USDM SRD with red stitch and NO back seat sort of guy, but I do miss the bling of the 01 interior. Love them or hate them, they will bring top dollar if they are in mint condition. If they are not in mint condition, I wouldn't even bother with them.
