What Hondata program is right for me?
OK... well I currently have a 00 GS-R, which will be fitted with JDM ITR pistons, skunk2 stage 1 cams, complete S2 valvetrain (Flat faced valves), light port and polish, 2.5 exhaust, a rage tri-y header.and possibly a shaved head gasket. Well i was wondering what Hondata system would work best for me. I am trying to achieve around 200 whp.
I have searched, but did not find a definite answer... thank you.

those parts with the hondata ecu and some one to do a real good tune shouldnt be to hard to hit 200hp... a gsr is 170hp stock if im not mistaken... but since your building the entire head you may want to also get like an intake manifold, throttlebody, and intake... possibly also a fuel rail and maybe even fuel pressure regulator before the tune... with those also along with other parts you mentioned you should have no problem at all hittin over your 205hp goal with a real good tune...

200hp and 200whp are two very different things.
OP, also grab an intake manifold and an AEM ITR CAI while youre at it. Im thinking you should be around the 200whp mark. If you got more aggressive cams than definitely. Are you taking layers out of the OEM headgasket are getting another one?

as he said id pick up the mani, and intake but also maybe even a throttle body a lil bigger then your stock and you should have no prob. hittin your 205whp with a real good tune...

IMO the s100 is still a great program but somewhat outdated, and the s300 is somewhat designed around boost.

That was my other question... if I bought a Skunk2 IM or even an ITR manifold, will I need to replace my CAI? I forgot to mention that there is an AEM CAI on the car already. Is it true that I will lose torgue with a larger TB and new IM?
I don't think you mean program, you mean system, right?
First off you will need a OBD1 ECU for any of the three Hondata options with a OBD2>OBD1 cable.
Yes you will need to replace the CAI with one for a ITR. Throttle body location is different between a GSR and ITR.
Yes you will lose mid range power with a single runner manifold. If your tuner is really really good you may get most of it back to before you changed it and only gain very little top end.
Some other things you may need:
larger injectors 310cc or 370cc, depends on your final HP goal
high flow cat 2.5"
bore out your TB or get larger one
I have a similar set up USDM Pistons, ITR Cams, PnP head, I am running the S300. Very nice good system and I was able to get my car running without my tuners help nice plus. I am also running the GSR intake ported and right now I should be at about 190whp. Haven't got to the dyno yet, only street tuned.

Thanks for the advice... I was very well aware of the OBD conversion. MY final HP goal will most likely not exceed 210. Does this warrant larger injectors?
You will need larger than the 240cc for anything higher than 175whp.
This does depend on your fuel pressure and what duty cycle you are willing to live with. You should try to stay below 80% if possible.
Right now on 370cc injectors I am at 62% with stock fuel pressure at my estimated 190whp.
