just recently my dash instrument lights went out...so i took a look at my fuse panel and replaced the fuse and it came back on. but once started the car up i noticed the the speed and tach are not working nether are the brake and seat belt light. so since i was just messing with the fuse box i think that would be the reason why, i replaced one of the 15a one thats in the top right, with the 15a radio one cause thats working atm. i also made sure that everything is pluged into the gauge cluster and the fuse box, seemed fine to me.

so what could be the problem should i get a new fuses for the 15a or could it be somthign else that i might have messed up

 

Check the backup fuse in the engine bay

 

i threw my back up 7.5 fuse in the back up engine bay and it didnt even start...so my back up was bad but i think the one we got now should be fine

also my clock doesnt work if that helps out any

 

Fuses can be bad or broken w/o the fusible link being broken...just buy a larger assortment pkg and start replacing them all. <$10 on Ebay!

 

i replaced all of the 10s, and 15s, 7.5s

also i just noticed my power windows arnt working anymore....does that link it to anything bigger then just the fuses?

so the speed, tach, seatbelt light, e brake light, and windows dont work

car starts up and runs fine headlights and all that work on normal and high also

 

check the bulbs on the cluster
