Ex-Honda Challenge car
I've just bought a '93 Civic CX hatch! Hell yeah, my first hatch. Anyways it used to be a honda challenge car, so all it has is one seat, no interior, and no motor. I want to continue its legacy but I also want to use it on the streets on a regular basis. What motors would suit my purpose?? Right now i've got my mind set on a B20/VTEC or a LS/VTEC. Also, maybe a GSR. But as far as the power/torque game, which one would be the best for what I wanna do with the car?? Any helpful advice would be great!

the factory assembled one with a short enough stroke to rev to 8200RPM all the time. Or one like it.
Search for the facts. Dont go off opinions. You never know who's giving them.

I've been researching before i even bought the car, but its nice to hear peoples opinions. I might throw a ZC motor in there just for moneys sake. Its hard to make up my mind

You say that in every thread....yet..you still can't disconnect the "h" from VTEC.

go with gsr...better reliability with a factory vtec motor. b20/vtec and ls/vtec might be reliable, but its just all around better to go with a gsr...you get about the same performance.

Hmm I could certainly see him working with what he presently has
Do more research, get a damn finance calculator to see what you can afford and then make your own choice.
