they look like they're made from the same material as the tires.

I'm using Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's and I like them a lot. The tires you choose really repend on the use (or abuse) you're going to put them through. I upgraded from my Metzler M1's to the Michelins when I started to run at tracks a few months ago.

**You really will not need 'full race' tires if you're going to be riding on the street

You dont even need 'trackday' street tires. A set of sport toruing (michelin pilot road 2, bridgestone BT-021, etc) will handle all you need on the road and still hold up if you want to do a trackday or two on them.

Maybe you wont have as much "street cred" with your "bois" if you dont have 2CT's, but you'll replace tires half as often.

Track: Dragon Supercorsa Pro though once the ones I have run out, Michelin Power Race.

Street: Michelin Pilot Power or Pirelli Diablo Corsa III (both real good track tires as well)

Michelin Pilot Powers. Completely satisfied with them. Great in the canyons. Never ride in the rain but I've heard they're not too awesome there. Lol.

did you mean to say "I've heard they're awesome there" cause pilot powers and 2ct's kick *** in the rain. The pilot powers in the rain and cold are great cause of the silicone in the tires which helps them heat up quickly and grip well.

With that being said, how do you like your Super Corsa III's on your F4i? You're response made me think you'd be one to have some sport touring rubber on your street bike.

I used Bridgestone BT014 on both the RC51 and YZF600. I recently switched to the new BT002RS on the RC51 and really like them.

I plan on switching the YZF to the BT021 when the BT014's wear out. The new profiles seem to really work.

The pirellis are good... i'm not hard on tires on the street, looks like I got about 5-6k miles out of this set with some track days. The plan was to replace them with a set of Pilot Road 2 or BT-021, but I'm selling it The next bike will get a set of those for sure though - I'd like to ride for a year without changing tires.

trackdays: supercorsa pros. i got 7 trackdays out of a set of TAKE OFFS. it's especially amazing because they've probably got another 2 days left in em. good grip, great profile, and they're nice n' predictable at the limit. they've fallen off some, but they're still good enough for my untalented *** to get around the track and have fun.

street: diablo corsa's were good. the supercorsa's were ok on the street, i got about 5000 miles out of em. metzeler m1's lasted like 2000 miles before flatspotting in the middle (i don't know why) and the pilot roads were good for the slab.
