because that is the worst idea ever. if someone wants to repaint the car with quality paint it may not work...it will bubble and do all other kinds of weird ****. but do what you want to do i guess...

bro dont let em get to you....read up on the how to and know it by heart...removing panels stripping sanding primper paint etc....ive been in the painting scheme for a good time now and both of my hatches got done professionally but i have also done 50 dollar paint jobs that turned out just as good...whatever you do just make sure you do the actual painting in a garage with lots o light and youll be fine
i'm not hating. why would i say good luck then?
i just know that painting is difficult work... and not everyone can do it... especially on their first try.
i'm just being real. i've read millions of paint posts and articles.... sounds like just follow instructions...
but at the end of the day... you know it takes more than just reading directions off a computer.... feel me?
but like i said... good luck man.

listen man The biggest rule of thumb anyone can give you on ANYTHING you do is take your time dont rush the ****..... Alot of people that try this and get to where they are seeing results and rush through the rest because they blew there load in the first leg. Take it step by step and be sure to sand between coats and remember lighter is better with this application.
Good Luck man. Just take your time and do everything right. I spent a ton of time working on my hatch and being completely honest it looks very close to new OEM paint. You'll be happy with it if you work your *** of.
not hating on your project man, but don't ruin all the body work with $50 of household paint. plus if you're going to repaint it later on that's a lot of paint to sand off. some cheap single stage enamel would look 10x better than what you're going to put on it.
