Are 98 jdm and usdm bumpers the same?

Im planning on buying a 98 sepc rear bumper for my 94 but is there a difference between the 98 spec jdm one and the 98 spec usdm one?

There is no difference between jdm and usdm exept the support. The jdm model is alot lighter. There is a difference between 98 and 94 rear bumpers though do a search...

I think he means that the jdm rear bumper support is lighter?

The only difference between the the JDM and the USDM one is that the JDM rear bumper doesn't have a place to bolt the license plate to. In Japan, they use a metal bracket that connects the license plate to the car itself. If you're going to use the JDM bumper, you're going to have to make a bracket.
