well I had a simaler problam my fan would turn on either a so I changed from a pull to a push fan works great now. but what you can do check make sure nothing burned out or has a short in the wiring. also check to coolant level thjis could also be why its not kicking in because it's not reading a good level.

Well, I mean the fan uses a thermal switch....if the car isn't hot, then that would explain why the fan isn't on. It isn't on a timer. Test the fan switch, then test the fan...if both are fine, then there's nothing to worry about.

I understand it is temp controlled I don't understand how I can let my car idle for a good while and it never start running hot and the fan never come on?
