Just need a really good clue before I swap it out. My winter beater came with a bad motor, but I found a good one for really cheap like 20$ + my old rims

ok this is my first time doing an automatic motor swap.
I know so cool. I've done 5 spds but never done any auto.

Just want to know whats the difference from an auto swap?...and interms of the transmission, I know 5spds have shift linkage but what do the autos have? how do I get it to be in park/ or how do I know if its in park during the swap?
