Default How to tell if CABLE or HYDRO tranny.

How can you tell on a 99 GSR? The shifting seem a bit harder than my Si which was a Hydro Tranny.

Another questions. Will it matter if I install a Hydro clutch/pressure plate onto a cable tranny?

THANKS!

'94 and up integra are all hydro, unless someone installed a hyrdo to cable conversion, which is slim to none. Also, because your car is most likely hydro, you will need the hydro clutch.

I believe the pressure plate's are the same for the B series but the clutch discs are transmission specific (hydro/cable and the year also)

I know it is 99.9 % hydro guys, but I have seen people swap cable trannies into newer tegs and civics, so I didn't want to rule that out. I would be willing to bet lots of money it is hydro though!!!

What do you mean by it seems harder to shift, the pedal is harder to press down, or getting the shifter into gear is harder?
