I was brave back in the day....
of course I didn't admit it here then, when I had it, but I never had an alarm on my R, didn't lock the doors most of the time, and quite often left the windows down or cracked. No i don't live in the woods, but in Houston. for 2 whole years, i got away w/it I'd say the worst thing that ever happened was it got egged once, grrr

I have had my R 2 1/2 years in the Bay Area and do not have an alarm.
It should be clear by now that there is absolutely no point in having one - the alarm gets stolen with the car and you are out even more money.
An alarm/LoJack etc. may make you feel all fuzzy inside but so will a bottle of wine and the wine will generally cost a lot less.

hehe, the R was sold long ago, besides, if people want it, they'll get it, reguardless, i've read enought posts here to know that
