Just bought a 03 rsx type-s just wondering for performance what should i do first. Intake? Exhaust? Chip?
also i wante to get Hid's, "H" emblem, and the type-r wing. anyone know any good place to get any of these.
i'm new at this so any info would be nice.

 

first mods should be suspension IMO. than comes the i/h/e/kpro. HIDs and exterior afterwards.

 

Do yourself a favor and forget about the 'appearance' mods and focus on quality upgrades.

But if you must learn about rebadging your car, post in the Appearance forum.

 

hey not everyone is out there to be fast. My last car went to its grave because i wanted faster and did some things i shouldn't have. Now all i want is a nice lookin ride thats still fun to drive. Maybe hes more worried about it looking good than going fast.

Go with suspension you will not regret it! It ups the fun factor of the car a whole lot. After that go either way with the enginr mods or style mods! Good luck and congrats on the new purchase!

I agree with the suspension being the first modification. After you're done with that, I would do the CAI (great gains on these cars), Race header (let's face it, one of the best power adders for the Type S), exhaust, then Hondata reflash or KPRO.

 

suspension should always be the first mod like every1 else said.

Suspension needs to come first get yourself some springs with konis or some coils. Then after your monster truck status is gone you can next go into i/e/rh/kpro. The most power your gains that you will notice will be from k-pro, I love mine its soo nice.

im buying my 1st RSX-s in mid january and the 1st mods i plan on doing is a lip kit and the rear wing i dont plan on racing, i dont plan on chirping my tires. i want my car to look good for the ladies and last a long time! then maybe suspenion to lower it. and thats ALL the mods im doing.

How does that give us a bad rep? Pliskin said he wanted to do appearance mods and he's not into the racing thing. So if he's not weaving through traffic like a maniac, how is he giving us a bad rep?

and to the OP, do whatever you want with your car. You are the one who has to drive it every day.

To each his own! If appearance mods are all you want then go for it! Some people think the car is quick enough without many performance mods and others just really like the styling of it. Please do not turn this into the Civic forum with pointless threads about how the OP sucks! No one has made an *** of themselves so until they do "if you don't have anything nice to say then say nothing at all!"
