157whp. Completely burnt stock clutch, unable to launch, unable to WOT shift. Not a bad time all things considered.

Ok got it to work. What mods did you have done in that video.

 

Photobucket sucks, it resets itself directly after being posted. I fixed it.

-Omnipower testpipe
-DC Sports 2.3/8" exhaust
-AEM 3" CAI

Everything else stock, with 157whp.

 

those mods should net higher numbers than that, shouldnt they? ive seen bone stock motors with higher hp, was it superhot humid day or something?

 

^ Yes, 110degrees on that day, quart and a half low on oil (Didn't realize until later that night after the car sat all day), with an oil consumption issue. It's very under powered for what it is.

Don't worry, I've been saving for my rebuild.

It's never been numbers I'm after though, it's times I'm after... For 157whp, 14.3 with a completely burnt clutch, is pretty damn good. I'm curious to see what I can do with my new clutch, after I get my motor mount inserts in.

 

Fluke, that track has been known to be a bit faster than others.

 

Which track is that? Haha.

The track actually has a reputation for never being prepped.

That's the only time I've run it.

Going back after I get my motor mounts in. Going to shoot for some 13s. I'm sure the engine can generate a lot more than 157whp with the right conditions, and tuning. So I'll give that a shot.
