Default Head gasket leak and RUST formation

My head gasket gave way about 8 months ago, and the engine has been sitting un-used for that time.

Now i finally got around to taking the head off and the pistions and cylinder bore have considerable rust on them, from having coolant sitting in the bores for 8 months....

Have i fuct my engine or is this rust just surface and nothing to worry about? Will give the top of the pistons a clean up with brake-clean, aswell as the combustion chambers, valves etc, and am getting the head re-surfaced.

Also are my stock head-bolts sweet to re-use when the head goes back on?

any replys greatly appreciated!

Also does anyone know how much you can mill the head before the head bolts 'bottom out' on a b18c?

And are honda head bolts 'torque to yeild'? I have heard these can not be re-used, but am thinking honda dont use TTY bolts? correct me if im wrong...
