It's not really a step by step sort of thing. You just locate the turn signal wires, and splice in to them.

Do they also blink?

If so, you just need to disconnect the wire from the parking lights and connect it to a ground instead.

You can buy Quick Connectors at walmart for like 4 bucks.. I think its better than splicing you wires.. Its basically a plastic piece that has metal in it.. You put the wires under the metal piece and clamp down on it with needle noise pliers. Here is what is sort of looks like. http://www.electriciansupplies...s.jpg

Those are good, so are butt connectors:

Just pop both wires in and crimp down, it ownz splicing.

There should be three wires coming out of your corner lights. One's a ground, one's a solid state (parking lights) circuit, and the other is a circuit with a relay in it (the turn signal).

If you get a multi-meter and turn your hazzards on, two of those (ground and turn signal one) will be reading voltage.

Connect the black to the black (ground), and the other hot wire connect to the positive end of your sidemarkers.

I forget, go to search and type in side marker wiring.

To settle this once and for all:

There are two wiring options. USDM (Sidemarker only blinks when turn signal is on) or JDM (Sidemarkers stay on and blink alternately with the signal). Pull back the fender liner and remove the corner/parking light. There will be 3 wires going to the bulb. Tap into the corresponding wires for each blinking style.

USDM:
Tap into green(turn signal) and black(ground) wire.
JDM:
Tap into red(parking light) and green(turn signal) wire.

actually i think you might have that backwards....jdm=blink with signal, and dont stay on...usdm=didnt come with factory side markers...so all the ones you see are customised or have jdm fenders..but people wire them direct so that they stay on with your lights...
