I wouldn't use polyurethane... stick to hard rubber like Mugen or HardRace bushings or replace them with new OEM rubber bushings. Polyurethane has been shown to deteriorate much faster than rubber bushings in street applications.
And $83 just for rear UCA bushings, that's completely rediculous!

wow are you serious???
geez man, if you got nothing better to say, or if you dont like reading...keep it to yourself and dont waste HT space.
the man said REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM... mugen or hardrace do not make jack for that, and even if they did mugen "hard rubber" is a ******* dirty scheme to get stupid *** people like you.
it all started when trailing arm bushings were deteriorating, and honda refused to sell them seperate of the whole trailing arm...then when they recognized their fault and started selling them....mugen tried to cake off it from people who didnt know, so they bought a buncha honda ones and started selling them under the mugen name. they are identical. nothing hard about them.
and with that said....polyurethane does not deteriorate faster than rubber you ***.
and as for the original poster....sorry i have no pics, byt my SPC upper arms come with what look to be poly bushings, the arms are outstanding quality and do not squeak a bit due to the entrapment bushing design...similar to the bshings found on the function 7 lower control arms (which i also own and love)

alright you need to calm yourself or take a pill or something.

Poly bushings are **** for street cars. Even my poly shifter bushings, which sees nowhere near the loads that control arm bushings do, deteriorated to the point where they where crumbling in my fingers after just a few years. Rubber bushings last MUCH longer. Period.
Get your story straight before you start calling people names.

My rear would step out wide and abruptly before my tires even started to complain (very exciting at Roebling Road at 70 MPH). JDogg suggested that my ES poly trailing arm bushings may be binding, so Friday evening before I went to VIR I replaced them with Mugen hard rubber bushings.....
The new bushings made a huge difference at VIR, it was like I had a different car. The rear is much more stable and no longer steps out. I was able to push the car much harder than I previously could, it was really amazing.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes I know those are trailing arm bushings and not rear upper arm bushings, but the point is that polyurethane bushings can bind up where rubber bushings would not.
*edit* the original post mentions bushings for rear lower control arms, but the link was for rear upper control arm bushings. I have PM'd the OP as to which he was referring to.

so far the only true replacement bushings i have come across for the rear UCA are the hard race ones. haven't found any poly bushing that were sold alone as replacements. quite a few of the adjustable arms have poly bushings in them however. given they want $85 for 4 bushings its too much, you can get a new set of adjustable UCAs for that or a few dollars more.
pat, i swear i must have magical poly bushings, i just got my front UCAs off and they look brand new...aside from the dirt! so far none of mine have worn out anything like your shifter bushings and i have yet to se any wear like DavidR had with his. i've had those bushings since what? 2001ish?
