Not sure what happened but I can't open the rear passenger door door on my 2000 Honda Civic. I've tried the inside and out door handle. The lock appears to be operational both electronically and manually. I don't know if the child safety lock is engaged however, I still should be able to open the door using the outside door handle.

Can someone enlighten me on what I can try next.

 

good luck dude... i had to take off the inside door panel on my drivers door when it got stuck... what a bitch that was... i used a sawz-all to cut away the locking devices lil plastic bracket so I could manually get some needlenose pliers an pull the rod assembly that opens the door... and i didnt even slam my door shut or anything, just refused to open on me.... i got a new peice at the junkyard for like 10 bucks but damn that was such a mission.. i busted out the torch and everything, like 5 hours i was workin on that ****...
