Default Tranny Help

I have an automatic 93 del sol with the stock single cam...and my neighbor has an old crx with like an 89 ls integra swap done to it...but im pretty sure the tranny mite jus be the stock vtec one...but it mite be the ls tranny...i was wonderin if i took the tranny out the crx...since its totalled...and did the work to covert it would the tranny mount up to my del sol...need some help please i have no car to drive ...

first of all..b series tranny wont bolt on to d series. and second of all is LS tranny manual or auto

you would need to swap the motor and the trans in order for that to work - B Series tranny wont bolt up to a D series motor, sorry dude. find out what work the integra motor needs and just buy the full swap off of him

You should be able to find a good condition used d-series tranny locally for $50-$200 depending on how fancy you want to get.

the ls tranny is manual....and i have another del sol thts my track car...i got this one for a beater but i wnt it to be a stick...but the tranny mite jus be the one tht came with the crx stock...it was a vtec crx and my del sol isnt...would the stock one mount up?????

dude..this isn't quantum mechanics here. its very simple - if you are looking to make your single cam Del Sol manual, using a B series transmission...it WILL NOT work. you cant bolt a B series trans to a D series motor.

i know d series wnt mount up to b...thts common sense...i dnt know exactly whts in the crx...wht if the crx wasnt vtec stock would it be a d series tranny...

ooh, i see what you're saying now..sorry about that dude. if the CRX motor is d series then, yea, it should bolt up.

VTEC plays no interchangability role in swapping transmissions. In OEM terms, cars that come equipped with VTEC have shorter geared trasnmissions than those that do not. Otherwise they are all perfectly interchangable.
