Did you get a new cluster? if you did then just transfer the mph gauge guts from the old cluster onto the new one. If not then thats a bad idea because dmv has records of your mileage.

Are you doing an Integra cluster swap? I can tell you how, but not on the boards.

At least in CA, its not illegal to set a new odometer to the actual mileage of the car. I think the vehicle code could be taken that it's illegal *not* to do so.

Even so, how to reset the odometer still doesn't belong here on h-t.

it's not illegal if he's doing what he said he's doing.

it's illegal to install the new odometer without setting it to the proper mileage.

I didn't realize H-T was full of so many saints.

x2

If you have your old cluster you can just swap out the speedometer region.

It's 4 screws.

Just take the odometer from your original cluster

He's putting an Integra cluster into his Civic. He would like to roll the mileage on the Integra cluster to the mileage on his Civic. Therefore, he can't put a Civic speedo/odo into his Integra cluster housing.

I would also like to know how to fix my mileage to the proper mileage for what it should be. My speedometer stopped working and the fix was to swap out the actual Speedometer/Odometer now my cluster reads 164,XXX when it really is only 133,XXX....Being that the car is a turbo b16 that runs race gas i'm going to have an issue when it comes time for emissions and obviously would not be getting the 5000 mile a year exemption i am entitled to since the car gets driven maybe 2000-3000 miles a year. So if someone could give me an hand and PM me if they don't to list it on here (for obvious reasons) that'd be cool. I already tried rolling back my old one for practice since it was junk anyway and broke it haha.
