clutch pressure prob plz help

Default clutch pressure prob plz help

i have a leak in my slave cylinder and master cylinder. i have to top the resovoir off every couple of days. the clutch does not engage until the pedal is almost out. is this because of the leak?? brand new exedy clutch 1000 miles ago. thx for the help

if you have a leak not only are you pushing fluid out, but your sucking air back in. its like having air in your brake lines. they just wont work. find the leak, fix it, then bleed your clutch.

yes but is this leak makin my clutch not engage until the pedal is almost all the way out? the pedal is soft so i no i have the leak. parts are shipping on there way right now. thx

would my leaking slave drive and clutch master cylinder make my clutch not engage until pedal is almost all the way out???? thx

yea i just had the same problem...i didnt even replace the mc or slave i just bled it and made sure everything was tight and it went back to normal. you gotta bleed the **** out of it and do it slow. found out the hard way that pumping it fast will suck air up thru the threads of the valve.
