I blew a rod bearing. I replaced it and and then started the car. It started knocking right away. By the time i could turn it off it stripped the bolts on the rod and thew the rod though the block. Real Nice! I had a tech come look at and he said that it was the wrong rod, the part store messed up. Just wanted a second oppinion before i went down there. Rod Details>>> The stock rod has a 6 with three dots to the right of the 6. Then to lower left of the seam it has a u stamped on it. The new rod has the 6 stamped on it but it has 2 dots on the oppisite side. Instead of a u stamped on, it has a A. Any Help would be Cool Thanks
