Default please help

hey i have 1991 civic h/b with a b18a1 swap i am burning oil it only burns oil at high rpms/wop if i daily drive it its fine.we did a valve adjustment that wasent it,do you think i should change my pistons and rings?also its 91 block on a 92 head,i also dont think its the head gasket because im not loosing any coolent.

It's an old engine could be a lot of things, but if I were to guess it would be rings. Maybe time for a rebuild or keep adding oil to keep it running to save for another.

replace your PCV valve. mine had the same problem, replaced that, fixed the smoke!

so you dont think its the rings,also is the pcv were the black box next to the oil filter?

Fix that PCV valve, its like 5 bucks. Its a hell of a lot easier/cheaper than replacing the rings.

No, its in between the runners. look for a little 90 degree bend and a big hose that goes to the IM.
not quite a B, but close enough

It prevent pressure from building up in the crankcase and stop blow-by. That's when gasses and oil blow across the rings and get burn up causing smoke.
