Default California Turbo (ers)

Does any company make a "carb" legal turbo? if so what brands?

I know JRSC makes a carb legal super charger, but want a turbo

On the top of my head, GReddy is the only one I could think of. Just wait for all of the turbo guru's to chime in.

Greddy is quality name and I know that it's carb legal. But on that note just know that you can move to good ole South Carolina and not have to worry about emissions testing at all.

only ones out, edelbrock has only released the gsr turbo kit for b series engines although they did say they would make kits for the ls and type r models as well, but thatwas awhile back and still no release. The also have a 50 state street legal kit for a few d series models as well

Edelbrock has the most complete kit out of the two. It is carb legal even with the addition of the intercooler, blowoff valve, and the IM The Greddy kit, unfortunately, is not legal if an intercooler and a blowoff valve is included (according to a Greddy sales rep I spoke with at SEMA).

the edelbrock kit comes with a garrett turbo ( gt28r for d series & gt28rs for b series). It would not be 50 state legal to use a garrett turbo in your custom kit though. for the kit, for cali not letting us do what we necesarily want
