It is now scattered t-storms on Friday. Hopefully that chit will move out of the area by the time Bookler sings on Saturday.

Nah, I'm thinking I'm done with that. It isn't worth all the crap I get for it.

I made 1 comment and left it alone. I also tried to make sure you knew I was kidding. I also remember complimenting you on your effort.

I cannot speak for the others however I will say that I do not have the ***** or the mAd sInGiNg sKiLlZ to do it. You get a for that.

Mad ballz Bookler. They only tease cause it makes them feel better about not being able to do it themselves. Keep it up, we do appreciate it I can sing damn well, but I'm way too scared to do it in front of people... be proud.

Thanks for the comments, but seriously... There are only so many times that I can be listed as people's "lowlights", or be described as something that had to be "endured" before I stop. I know I'm not THAT great of a singer, but I thought I was good enough to do this, and hoped that maybe it would add something to the event and the atmosphere. Judging by some of the reactions I received, I'm obviously not, and that's okay. Really. Let's see if we can find somebody else who is better, so everybody will be happy.

Like I said, I appreciate the positive comments, but I'm not doing this to get people to praise me. I'm not insecure, and I get enough positive affirmation in other areas of my life. I'm just dealing with reality. I'm no longer comfortable with doing the national anthem based on some of the things that were said here. I'll just stick to what I do best - racing.

That's just sad. Surely you're good at something?

Sorry, just warming you up for the weekend .

Scott, who really enjoys the constant **** we all give each other.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the racing **** we all give each other. Particularly when it took you a lap to pass me in your big tough H3 car down at CMP.

This is an entirely different realm. I've been the victim of quite a few cheap shots over this singing thing, and it isn't something I find particularly amusing. Like I said, I'm cool with everything. We just need to find somebody else to do it who can do a better job than I did.

Oh, I'll be following you again at Summit. Not necessarily because I can't pass you (well... maybe), but because I want to see where the hell to go in my big, tough H3 car.

And I promise to henceforth limit my cheap shots to your inability to drive.

Well, in such a high horsepower monster, your line would be totally different than mine! Maybe you could find a Viper to follow?

Yeah right! LOL! For the record, you have yet to offend me with *any* of your comments.
