removing ignition assembly

Default removing ignition assembly

I broke my key off in my ignition, and i am going to get another assembly rather than pay 75 dollars to take it out, i can't quite figure out how to take the ignition assembly off. please help!

If you are talking about the 2 screws that hold the ignition to the column, You can use a flat screw driver to get them out. Just put it beside the screws and the lip on the ignition and turn it. THat's how I always do it, its very simple. Another way is to use a dremel and make a slot in the screws and turn them out with a reg screwdriver.
