Pic Request - 96-00 Civics w/GC/Koni's, how low whill still having decent travel?
I'm picking up some GC/Koni's from a friend (400/450), and I'm trying to figure out whether or not I need to buy top hats (at least for the rear). Can people running the GC/Koni setup post pics of how low they can sit without getting the top hats?
You can sit as low as you want w/o them, you just might be on your bumpstops and have zero travel.
The front set is more important than the rear in most cases.
I'd get them regardless of how low you are riding just for peace of mind.

That didn't answer my question at all. Also, for the record, my Integra w/the GC/Koni setup had travel problems in the rear, not the front.
Someone please post some pics of yourself sitting on GC/Koni's WITHOUT the top hats and not on the bump stops. Thanks...

I definitely agree about rear travel being a problem. The other guy did have a point though...any added travel is going to be beneficial on a lowered car. Having decent travel is kind of subjective.

I guess what I should have said was, I don't want to bottom out when daily driving and nailing a bump or something. I could get rid of fender gap and still have adequate travel on the setup I had before, so I want to make sure that's the case with Civics too.

Bump for more pictures, thanks for the input so far folks. Hopefully I can get low enough to get rid of any fender gap... hate that stuff.
