New battery worked, then died when i tried to start?
Put a new battery in the accord after a long time, havent been driving it...however, i put the battery in, all the lights came on as they would etc... the alarm chirped. Well, that was a good sign, so i got in the car, turned the key to turn the motor on and just dead, everything went dead and didnt work again. That was it. Any Ideas?
i'm not sure but all fuses are good? When you turn to start, did anything happen? Any sound?
check the battery fuse. it's like 100 amps. It might of blown. This could have made everything not work.

if it has been sitting for a while it may need a charge even though its new. also make sure you closed the door properly atc so that no lights will drain the battery. and clean/check/replace your old terminals. make sure your ground is 100% - that is key.. g/l
so i put the new battery back in today, re-secured the terminals etc... and it tried to turn over, but just sat and cranked, but it never started, just sat and tried to. I am not sure what to try now, i put some dry gas in the tank so we'll have to see.
