Got my si!!! (rev-hang question)
So, on Tuesday, I picked up my 2008 Fiji Blue Pearl Si and I am so in love. Its my first brand new car and I have never been so excited to drive any car. Everytime I take it anywhere, I get excited. I haven't been on the computer all week because anytime I havent been working, I have been driving my car. I've put 700 miles on it in under a week! It handles better than I remember my friends handling and is so smooth. The only question I have is with the rev-hang. I know these cars all have this problem, but was wondering if there was a fix for it or anything. Can I take it to my dealer to have it reworked? Its not such a problem when I am getting on it, but it gets annoying during normal driving sometimes. I have already gotten pretty used to it, but would rather it not be there at all. Is there a fix for this, or is it something I will have to get used to?
PS- before i get my head ripped off for not searcing this topic because someone has posted it before...i did search for it and came up with nothing. i know i saw the topic once somewhere before i got my car, but havent seen it since

um first off, next time search in the archive.
and secondly, your car does not fall in the rev hang problem.
every car after 06 has had the ecu reflashed to have the rev hang issue resolved.
so you have no rev hang...your just not used to the DBW yet.

Really? I searched and found 7 here. Googled it and... "Results 245,000 for civic rev hang. (0.15 seconds)." Try harder.

it doesnt hang as bad as what was the actual "Rev hang problem" i have an 07 as well...and its just the DBW...the actual rev hang issue was actually a longer rev.
