Default Will a 96 GSR exhaust fit 00 Type-R?

My 96 GSR has an Apexi N1 full cat back that I would like to put on my Type-R. Will this fit or does it need to be modified to fit?

Has anyone actually done this?

No, the B-pipe will be too long to bolt on.

Damn I was really hoping it would work. Is it like 1 inch too long or like 6 inches to long?

Yes, and also a good opportunity to install a tapered flange to remove the bottleneck.

Yeah I have a Thermal on there now but it buzzes more than it is loud. My Si I had with a JDM 4-1 header, test pipe, and N1 sounded so aggressive and loud as ****. Alot better than the thermal.
