ok put in lucas treatment, oil just changed, fuel injector treatment, valves are still ticking loud, idle drops while siting at lighs, a whining sound like a go kart when i accelerate??? any takers?

yea im sure its the valves, yea i heard about the lash adjust, any other thoughts?

do a valve adjustment. and as for the whining noise, if your timing belt has too much tension on it, when u accelerate it will make a whining noise. as for your idle there is a idle adjustment screw on ur throttle body u can loosen or tighten to adjust your idle.

 

thanks for the timming tip i need to be replaced anyhow, the idle started when the valves did it ides fine then will randomly drop when sitting still wont stall but drops real low. Help?

 

Do a valve adjustment. And next time, skip the Lucas.
