Best grounding spot in 94+ Integras?
Where to ground the Head Unit to?
Also, where is the best place to ground your amps in the trunk in 3door Integras? My amp is located in the trunk right next to the rear seats...below the rear strut bar if that helps.

i used the harness to ground the headunit, but i guess you can just run the wire anywhere thats metal, that should work fine. I have my ground for my amp on the wall of my spare tire well. if you lift up your trunk board, you'll see that theres plenty of room there on the back side of the wall and its easy to run the wire up from there. i also have my cap mounted there just to let you know how much room there is.
How'd you secure the wire to the wall in the spare tire well? I don't recall seeing any bolts or screws there...except the humongous screw thing that holds the spare tire in place.
Also, do you happen to know if the bolt that holds the bottom part of the rear seats in place would make a good ground?

as long as its short, is bare metal it should be OK.. you can make your own grounding points as long as your not drilling into wires, gas tank, electrical components, etc.. just make sure its bare metal.. or sand down that area so that it is.. then add a screw...

I just teared the rear appart and re-organized all the wires and ****.
Cut the ground wire to about 8". It was originally more than 35" long.
Organized all the speaker wires, RCA's, power wires, remote wire so that they're not all over the place beneath the rear seats.
Also seperated the RCA from the power wire as much as I could. I heard the speaker wires don't matter so two of them are very close to the power wire.
Used ziptie to make it alot more clean and neat.
The ground wire is not on a stock bolt, but rather, the installer drilled a hole in a thin metal plate below the rear seats and attached it there. There's a gap beneath the plate so the screw does not penetrate anything that it shouldn't.
Did I do anything wrong here? I can still hear a faint engine noise from the deck.

try grounding your rca, (the thin wire on rca cables is for ground..not remote like most people think) to do this, ground near the deck, and ground near the amp (ie. both ends)
