blew turbo seals on turbonetics t3 t4. where cani get rebuild kit? How much?
I need turbonetic t3 t4 turbo rebuild ,seals are leaking, causing car to smoke real bad, blueish smoke and burns 1 qt of oil a week. Where cani get rebuild kit, My boy can rebuild the turbo
there is a lot more to it than just replacing seals. If you knew alot about turbochargers you would know there is no seal to replace. The bearings have gotten warn and is causing the piston rings to leak. I would send your turbo to Tim's Turbo over on the east coast. He is a good rebuilder and is as honest as you can get.
here is my turbo, which turbonetic kits I get, THey are asking for color , not sure
Also will garrett t4 t4 kits work on drag kit?? here is a pic of my turbo

Is this just symantics then? What do you call the piston-ring (dynamic) and carbon 'seals' you find on the turbine and compressor end of Garrett turbos, if not "seals"?

mine is a ball bearing if that matters, per turbonetics i did not use a restrictor, but i decided to say eff them and use a restrictor, it made no difference

Not to thread jack, but my greddy 18g just blew recently. It still boosts and feels powerful, but it leaks oil like crazy and smokes prefusely. Any direction towards who can rebuild it?
