My 2w8000fmr Grey remote with the display is not working at all. I press I to unlock the doors, and the display shows the antenna without any signal bars.


changed new battery, still didnt work. tried the key in ignition reset procedure and after the parking light flashing, i tried to push I to program the remote. No luck, showed no signal bar.

PLEASE help

Sounds like the remote is hooped, take it apart and check for a bad solder joint at the ant. connections on the circuit board. 94

 

hmm, ripped open the remote and everything seems to be in order.


could it be my antenna in my car??

 

Yes it could, or the R/F section in the main unit.
