Default Thoughts on this set up for 5,000 in a acura el

just throwing some ideas together, what do you guys think about a set up like this in an acura el/domani

built h22 head, p&p'd, full skunk2 valve train, skunk pro 2 cams, aem cam gears(have head already)
stock h22 type-s block
h2d kit
some type of decent clutch
megan racing header
zex direct port nitrous set up spraying a 100 shot
skunk 2 intake manifold
skunk2 tb
car tuned to run on 94 octane

so what do ya think? would it be an impressive d.d as well as run possibly a high 11?

An EL is basically an Acura "civic" in Canada.

ok well say a better header then, hahaha. it was just what i had laying around. I dont see how this would be barely a 12 second car, are you not forgetting its going to be sprayed on a 100shot?

Yep. It's just an EX sedan with some more accessories. Leather, heated mirrors? Yep, that's going to need to go in it's own section...

It's a pretty heavy platform compared to other civic's, but should be about 300 lbs lighter than any prelude with the same motor. 11's will depend on traction, even with the 100 shot.

The head work on H22's doesn't seem to net a lot of power, so I'd save the money there. And There are only a couple headers that actually make power on them as well. Withouth spending a butt load, stick with stock and put the money into something else.

that would be a bomb setup, if u dropped the nitrous and setup a turbo kit insted.

That first pic is a poor representation just because it's so modified and the second is a 1.7EL, not the 1.6EL this topic is about. The 1.7EL is akin to a 7th gen Civic.

And be able to dust people with a four door. =D, Anywho I'd say H22a and just turbo it, then again, the motor isn't really all that boost friend unless built and tuned right. But that's just my .02 cents. Your list clearly states that you probably have everything figured out though. Good Luck. By the way are there any emission laws where you're at?, Sorry if that was a stupid question. Avatar explains it all.
