im not to crazy about the new cbr1000rr but the zx10r isnt to bad but i dont really like how they have the front turn signals.
I think they both suck looks wise. I guess the zx10r is supposed to be a rediculous performer (365lb. dry and probably around 180hp, traction control!!), but it looks like a cross eyed transformer. The new 1000rr just pisses me off because its like a giant leap back in the looks department and side cans are just ugly and dated.
holy **** that's a long pipe.
it looks slightly better with modded fairings, but i still think it's ugly.
edit: those are modded stock fairings right, or do the uppers (front-end/lights) meet like that?

They are aftermarket (or, whatever market you call factory american honda race parts), if you're talking about that groove it's just cosmetic, it's a 1pc upper.

While I agree that looks matter, to me, it is a small amount. I'd rather look at performance numbers to make a judgment on a motorcycle.

From: hittin corners so hard you can taste my rims..
not really x10, or 1000RR related, but i can't get over the fact all the new bikes on the 08 line up... the bars are under the triple tree's, and almost level with the seat!
im 6'2".. and i doubt i'll be buying a new bike any time soon... the position on my F4i is night and day compared to any bike on the 08 line. (as far as street bikes) a few salesmen i talked to said they're really lowering the bars to get riders to tuck more. a buddy of mine just picked up a 08 ZX6... and i took it home for him.. (no licence) and i swore i could see the nose of the bike over the windscreen. that bike felt TINY.

I'm really liking both bikes to be quite honest... while no stock bike is ever going to be perfect for me, both kawi and honda have doen exceptional jobs on these liter class bikes
I kind of like how the big greeny has a retro look to its tail section but I have yet to see one in person.
