Fuel Supply System
defective or malfunctioning fuel supply system

it could be the fuel pump. or it might be the fuil pump relay. i wouldnt drive it. it might be runing lean.

Code 43 means replace the O2 sensor, done many of them, have never seen anything else fix this code personally, so its a high percentage that the O2S will do it for you, add in my vote and go OEM ONLY PLEASE, yes it costs more but worth it in the long run.

i have a 91 ef si hb with a b18a1 and i was just wondering how many o2 sensors did the car come with from the factory? I have 3 in my header, 2 in the top, and 1 before the cat. only one is plugged in and the car is idling funny and at one point in time it gave me a code 43. i also just replaced the thermostat because it was stuck open. Any other knowledge on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

A 91 si only had one o2 sensor, and I used the same one for my ls swap.

The single O2 sensor needs to sniff all four header pipes to give good feedback to the ECU, so past the collector and before the cat is where it needs to be, not in one of the header pipes.
