car idles below 1000 when its cold

Default car idles below 1000 when its cold

it idles below 1000 whe is cold if i dont keep the gas tap it will shut off until it warms up a little.then while driving it will stay rev at 1000.. i think its the engine coolant tamp sensor but i dont know how to fix that ****...any suggestions?

You need to clean out your throttle body and manifold and IACV/EACV really good, and then have someone that knows what they are doing come and set the idle for you the right way with the screw and iacv.

Well, he didn't mention what motor he has or if he has any CELs, it could be an FITV issue.

either way...clean it out and reset the idle.

well my b series does tha same thing, and i noticed on the backside of my engine my coolant temp sensor isn't plugged into anything, and thats what i think it is with mine too...i just can't find the connector for it, or i may just be too lazy

i gt it fix it was a quick ..right under the dizzy there is a skinny pug that goes into the head. that sensor was unplug..i guess i unplug it by mistake when i change mr tranny or something idk well is fix...
