Default Important question about oem oil pumps PLEASE HELP

*********scuse me for my english, it's not my natal language**********

Hello,

I'm currently rebuilt my 99 b16a2 and i have a problem with my oil pump

Pumps are :
15100-pr4-a03
15100-p72-a01

In america :
you have the PR4 on integra ls 90/95 b18a1 b18b1.
you have the p72 on integra/civic 96/01 b16a/b17a/b18c and other engine.

In france :
we have PR4 on all us 96/01 integra type R/civic vti/crv. (b16a2,b18c4 b18c6,b20z1/3 (reline for b16/b18 are real 8200/8400rpm)
P72 is only on some 00/01 crv

(i have eudm honda electronic catalog and us car are made in japan)

As you can see in definitive, all this pumps are compatible and where your 99 b16a have p72 pump, us 99 b16a have pr4 pump (without any problem).

So where are the differences between this two pumps.

life longevity?(reliability)
flow?
alloy of gears?
resistance?
RPM possibility?
other?

I read some pumps have gears in 84mm and some in 80mm.
It is the difference??

I really need to know the real difference, if someone have one of this reference can you make measurment please?

Thanks you very much for all of your responses

Alain
