Here's the part #. 54102-XVJ-000 $141.39 I work for Honda and it's in our 08 accessory cataloge. All the parts are and don't say anything about special order. I couldn't see this being a controlled part.

Like 1% at best of all 06+ SI owners reside on message boards on the internet, so it's impossible to really say you're the 'first'. You'll def be one of the few though.
