what you know about that???...that heat...
well im not sure if some of you guys remember my post from awhile back...but it seemed like my car's engine temp was really low, due to the thermostat. well i have not done anything with it because it seemed to be alright since i was getting heat. but now that colder weather has rolled in it seems like my heat isnt as warm as it could be...and it seems like it takes awhile for it to heat up...but it still gets there but not very hot...is this also due to the t-stat improperly functioning?
because on days like these i feel like i need the heat...
yea we got dumped on today. this is just within a couple of hours...i live near Lansing and this should not happen at all in my opinion...

Most likely. I just picked up a thermostat for my '97 GSR. My tell-tale sign is that the temperature will drop if I coast up to lights while in gear.

Mine was so bad that it would heat up to normal sitting still, and as soon as I moved it would drop down past "C".

lol, thats when you need remote start to warm up the car and heat. You don't even need to block out the license plate in the pic, snow did it for you.

My thermostat is changed. The temperature needle is riding slightly higher than I ever recall. I think that my thermostat was screwed from the start since the car was new. I'll check the warm-up tomorrow.
