So to start out.. I want to put one of those "big ricer" spoilers on my del sol... I found a wing that I liked but it is made for a toyota celica... And I know you get what u pay for.. And I know I should just save up money.. but Im going to get my car painted beginning of spring and I need a new spoiler and trunk for my Sol...

 

Ouch, that is rice-o-rama right there! Carbon fiber NASA spoiler . But if you must, the best thing would be take measurements because I do not thing it will fit the sol as the celica is a bit wider.

If you don't wanna have the ricer look, don't put a giant spoiler on your car...especially one that's made to fit a different car. That will not even remotely compliment the body lines of a del Sol.

Oh btw, calimari is a type of seafood. I think you're thinking of Kaminari?

 

I know im gonna get a lot of chit chat from alot of "you guys" meaning not the people by me... I knew I was gonna get "flamed"... but It doesnt bother me because I will do what I want... Im not gonna get mad and cry bout what you guys say. I personally like my car.. esp since I paid for everything on this car without the help of my mommy and daddy.. I know I made the mistake of "kalimari" My fault! But as a full time college student with no job I cant afford it. I originally found this one http://www.body-kits.biz/1992-....html which I like. Im undecided about the looks without a wing/spoiler. I do know I do not like the stock one.

i mean come on, you ask us if it will look good as if your asking for our approval. if you truly are going to do what you want then dont ask us for permission to ruin the back end of the sol. rather see this than that celica one. seriously though the mugen spoiler is in the correct area of the car to catch down draft to be usefull. so find something close to that.

lol i should know, i sold it to him. glad he's happy with it though.

 

Ill admit that the black one on the first page looks nice with out it! But i dont think the red looks too good tho... And as far as Mr Raines, I asked if it would fit.. not if you like and i would NEVER put an aluminum wing on my car... [<U>B]TO ME[/B]</U> aluminum wings make a car look like crap... inless its a chevy... then mayb i would! LOL

then you need to change the title of the thread from "Will it fit or look good?" to I dont give a **** what you say, this is what i'm putting on my car. dont title it with a question if it will look good if you dont want to hear if we like it.
